A Mexican romantic comedy starring global star Mariana Treviño, best known for co-starring opposite Tom Hanks in A Man Called Otto and headlining Apple TV+’s Owen Wilson comedy Stick. Treviño is also widely known across the Americas for Club de Cuervos, Mentiras, Overboard, and Narcos: Mexico.

Directed by Pitipol Ybarra, an established Mexican film and television director, and produced by Videocine and Wild Sheep Content, La voz en mi cabeza is currently in post-production.

After Halley’s Comet lights up México City, Karla wakes to discover a man’s voice in her head — uninvited, opinionated, and impossible to ignore. As the mysterious voice derails her dates, calls out the nonsense around her, and unexpectedly helps her navigate a life in transition, Karla begins to realize that the man she never wanted in her head may be exactly the one she needed to help her find her way — and perhaps even point her toward the right guy.
